Hot business over on the forums today: According to GM Inside News, Chevrolet apparently has stopped delivery of the Camaro ZL1 because of an undisclosed issue. The whacking, thwacking, lumberjacking-and-it's-OK pony cars sent to dealers and--according to one poster--delivered to at least one customer are being hauled in for a once-over because of an unspecified possible issue with the potent machines. According to Monte Doran, communications manager for Corvette and Camaro, "We go through a standard quality assessment with every new vehicle and we found what we thought was a potential concern.

Twenty-six years after the F40, the California T marks Ferrari’s late comeback to the turbo fraternity. Predictably enough, the next turbocharged model - the facelifted 2015 Ferrari 458 Italia - is just round the corner. At the 2015 Geneva motor show, the Italian sports car maker is expected to launch the M458-T, otherwise known as the revised Ferrari 458 Italia.
The winners of the Local Motors XC2V design competition have been announced. Created in partnership with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the brief called for individuals to co-create a vehicle body design for two different missions – Combat Reconnaissance and Combat Delivery & Evacuation – based on Local Motors' tubular steel chassis. The goal was to create a fast, lightweight, highly capable vehicle that would be suitable for various field missions.
